Held on November 4, 2023, STEM for Students Day brought a hundred fifth graders together at Aviation Elementary for a day of STEM activities, with real-life engineers on standby to help and answer questions.

The Wiseburn Unified School District Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Summer Graves as Principal of 138th St. School. Summer brings extensive experience in the field of education, having served as a public school educator for 17 years in the Wiseburn Unified School District.

In March 2023, District Coordinator of DEI and Compliance Dr. Monique Ingram and WUSD teachers launched a collaborative initiative that aims to enhance classroom diversity and equity through literature, focusing on sharing, exploring, and applying these core concepts.
